LASTINGS MILLEDGE STILL GOING AND GOING AND GOING...... He exceled in A ball and in International play and now Lastings Milledge is making the Arizona Fall League his personal play pen. In five games Milledge has a homer 6 runs batted in and 5 runs scored while bating a brisk .333. I will be lighting candles in church tomorrow and all off season to pray that Omar does not trade this kid and gives him a chance to join the big club by mid season. http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/article.jsp?ymd=20051014&content_id=1249744&vkey=news_nym&fext=.jsp&c_id=nym KEEP APRIL 3 2006 OPEN Why? Because that's opening day. And it will be at Shea as the Mets get to open the season at home against the Washington Nationals. Some interesting parts of the schedule are the Mets play the AL East this year in interleague play and I will tell you I am really really tired of interleague play. Please Mr. Used Car Salesman give it a break will you? Interleague play should come around every four years. The Mets play those rat bastards from the Bronx at Shea May 19-21. Then they go to the dump on 161 St and River Ave June 30-July 2. Before the trip to the South Bronx the Mets will go to Fenway Park with Petey and maybe Manny on June 27-29. There could be some buzz for that series :>) http://newyork.mets.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/nym/schedule/tentative_2006_season_schedule.jsp < |
