Roger Cedeno was arrested for speeding on Route 75:
In the latest incident, Cedeño was arrested on Dec. 4 in Broward County, Fla., and charged with "reckless driving." He was clocked at 111 mph on Route 75, the stretch of highway known as Alligator Alley linking the east and west coasts of South Florida.
This plus last years arrest for DUI and the $10 mil owed him on the final two years of his contract, have made it near impossible for The Duke to trade him. Although, Cedeno would have been shipped off to the Pacific Northwest, except that Mariners rookie GM Bill Bavasi needs to go to Sylvan Learning Centers to brush up on his reading comprehension, since he did not know that Jeff Cirillo had a no trade clause to NY in his contract.
